Each summer the hospital offers volunteer opportunities for teens 14-18 years of age. This provides an excellent opportunity for students to interact with health care professionals and learn in a medical environment.
The summer program is eight weeks in length. Applicants must make a commitment of at least five weeks to be eligible. Applications for the summer of 2013 are accepted beginning April 1, with a due date of May 10, 2013. Applicants must be 14 years old by April 1, 2013.
To apply, print and complete the following:
- Junior volunteer application (PDF, 66 KB), with photo attached
- Two reference forms (PDF, 60 KB), each sealed in an envelope
- A copy of your immunization record
