Description

For some people, a healthy diet and rigorous exercise isn't enough for dramatic weight loss. The Duke Center for Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery may be the answer with two different surgical methods to help those at risk for serious weight-related health issues. Combining advanced surgical techniques with comprehensive counseling, we can help to welcome newfound freedom and long-term success.  

To apply to the Duke Center for Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery program, we request prospective patients to first attend a free seminar that provides information about obesity, surgery and our program.

The weekly weight loss surgery information seminars are held every Tuesday from 4-6 pm and every Friday from 3-5 pm at our outpatient clinic. Register online or call 1-866-637-0711.

Registration Requirements
Registration is required and seating at each seminar is limited to allow more interaction with the doctor. Each participant may only bring one guest.

Directions
Located just off North Roxboro Road, adjacent to the Durham Regional Hospital grounds.

From the front of Durham Regional Hospital, continue Northwest on N Roxboro Road / US-501.

Turn slight Left onto Crutchfield Street.

From the Teer House, head South on N. Roxboro Road, pass straight though the intersection of Carver Street and Roxboro.

Turn Right onto Crutchfield Street.
