Description

Aphasia is a frustrating disorder that impacts adults’ communication abilities (reading, writing, listening and speaking), often as a result of stroke or other brain injury.

Durham Rehabilitation Institute and the Triangle Aphasia Project Unlimited host a weekly aphasia support group that offers communication practice and opportunities. Led by a DRI speech pathologist, this group is connected with groups and programming throughout the Triangle.

Directions
From I-85:
Take Duke Street exit north. Proceed approximately 2 miles to Crutchfield Street. Turn right and the hospital is on the right.

From Roxboro:
Take 501 south to Durham. Follow 501 to Duke Street, then follow Duke Street to Crutchfield Street. Turn left and the hospital is on the right.

Due to construction on I-85, please allow extra travel time.
