Prepared Childbirth Class Series

9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Educators trained as Lamaze certified childbirth instructors (LCCE) teach all classes at Teer House. The series of classes includes information and practice sessions on: signs and stages of labor; role of the dad/support person; vaginal and cesarean births; comfort measures including relaxation and breathing techniques; pain management options; coping with unexpected outcomes; hospital routines. This 2 class series will be Saturday/Sunday, October 26 & 27. Expectant parents are encouraged to complete the series between their 30-37th week.
We recommend you attend the hospital tour prior to beginning this series since some dates may conflict. Register early, space is limited.
