Infant Massage Class Series

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
This 2-part hands-on series (Wednesdays, September 18 & 25) introduces parents to the basics of infant massage, which helps parents bond with baby, aid in digestion, etc. Infants ages 1 month – 4 months may participate. All classes are taught by Certified Infant Massage Instructors. “Baby’s First Touch” massage book and massage oil provided.
Please dress baby in 2-piece (top and bottom) outfit and bring an extra blanket with the usual gear in your baby bag.

Educators trained as Lamaze certified childbirth instructors (LCCE) teach all classes at Teer House. The series of classes includes information and practice sessions on: signs and stages of labor; role of the dad/support person; vaginal and cesarean births; comfort measures including relaxation and breathing techniques; pain management options; coping with unexpected outcomes; hospital routines. This 4 class series will be Wednesdays/Mondays, September 18,23, 25 & 30. Expectant parents are encouraged to complete the series between their 30-37th week.
We recommend you attend the hospital tour prior to beginning this series since some dates may conflict. Register early, space is limited.
