About Your Health Spring 2007: Editor's note: The Spring 2007 About Your Health published a story stating that the DASH diet allows six servings of meat, fish or poultry per day. The DASH diet does allow this, but the article should have specified 1 ounce servings (for a total of 6 OUNCES per day).
Since most of us eat larger portion sizes, we understand the confusion this may cause, and we do apologize. We will run a clarification in the next issue of About Your Health.
