Combining state-of-the-art technology and personalized care, our team of experienced orthopaedic surgeons offers comprehensive orthopaedic services, including muskuloskeletal care, total joint arthroplasty, and treatment and rehabilitation for sports injuries, trauma or complex spine conditions.

Our orthopaedic healthcare team designs a personalized hospital stay and discharge plan for your individual needs, allowing a safe and speedy recovery. Located on the 7th floor of Durham Regional Hospital, the orthopaedic unit has 35 private rooms.

Our services include: total joint replacement surgery, including hips, knees, shoulders and ankles, back surgery and post-surgery rehabilitation.

We also frequently provide treatment for these disorders: scoliosis, osteoarthritis, fractures, Degenerative Disk Disease (DDD) and HMP slip disk. 

Prior to surgery, our orthopaedic department holds a total joint replacement class that explains what you need to know prior, during and after your surgery. An optional tour of the orthopaedic unit is also available.
