Combining state-of-the-art technology and personalized care, our team of experienced orthopaedic surgeons offers comprehensive orthopaedic services.

Our orthopaedic healthcare team designs a personalized hospital stay and discharge plan for your individual needs, allowing a safe and speedy recovery. Located on the 7th floor of Durham Regional Hospital, the orthopaedic unit has 35 private rooms.

Our services include: total joint replacement surgery, including hips, knees, shoulders and ankles, back surgery and post-surgery rehabilitation.

We also frequently provide treatment for these disorders: scoliosis, osteoarthritis, fractures, Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) and disk herniation. 

Prior to surgery, our orthopaedic department holds a total joint replacement class that explains what you need to know prior, during and after your surgery. An optional tour of the orthopaedic unit is also available.
