What should I wear?
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing for your CT examination. Metal and jewelry should be removed from the area that will be examined.
What should I tell the physician and staff?
Tell the physician and the CT staff if you:
- Are allergic to iodine
- Are or might be pregnant
- Have a pacemaker
- Take Metformin-containing medication
Do I need to do anything to prepare?
Please drink a minimum of eight glasses of water the night before and after the examination.
